About Your Teacher - Mr. Thompkins will be your fourth and fifth grade special education teacher this year. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. This is his fifth year teaching special education students. Before becoming a teacher, Mr. Thompkins was a substitute teacher for the district. As a substitute he taught all grades and ability levels. His hobbies are coaching youth sports, recording and editing videos, and watching movies.

Educational Assistant 		About Your Educational Assistant - Mrs. Whittenberg has been with the Kenosha Unified District for 13 Years. She has worked with teachers in all kinds of classrooms, from high enrollment to In School Suspension. This is her first year with Special Education. She is enjoying working with the students she has assigned to her and hopes to have a very enjoyable year! Mrs. Whittenberg's hobbies includes reading, cross stitch, and doing home emprovement projects with her husband.
