Make a Difference Day
In a coordinated effort, McKinley Elementary School and Walmart, partnered up to sponsor a food drive for "Make a Difference Day." We collected non parishable items for the Shalom Center, the week of October 12-16th to help the less fortunate people. On October 16th, the students at McKinley took a walking field trip and picked up the contibutions from our neighborhood. We collected 907 pounds of food. McKinley Elementary and our community "Made A Difference".
